Senior Public Procurement Buyer

Your role and responsibilities:
- Act as a facilitator between the end customer, its internal customers and its various suppliers.
- Participate in defining the procurement strategy to meet the customer's interests.
- Link the customer's purchasing requirements to the external offer.
- Assisting the customer in drafting its functional requirements.
- Leading and supporting the various stages of the procurement process to ensure a successful purchase.
- Supervising supplier relations throughout the performance of the contract.
Develop a public procurement culture within the organisation.
Experience and knowledge required:
- Bachelor's degree with legal, economic, commercial or technical orientation.
- At least 5 years' experience in the field of public procurement.
- Knowledge of public procurement legislation.
- Experience in public institutions, healthcare or energy is an asset.
- Expertise in functional analysis and process optimisation.
- Fluency in French, with a good knowledge of Dutch and/or English.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and knowledge of SAP MM is a plus.
- Certifications such as Prince2, Lean Six Sigma, Agile are an asset.
