Your role and responsibilities:

  • Act as a facilitator between the end customer, its internal customers and its various suppliers.
  • Participate in defining the procurement strategy to meet the customer's interests.
  • Link the customer's purchasing requirements to the external offer.
  • Assisting the customer in drafting its functional requirements.
  • Leading and supporting the various stages of the procurement process to ensure a successful purchase.
  • Supervising supplier relations throughout the performance of the contract.
    Develop a public procurement culture within the organisation.

Experience and knowledge required:

  • Bachelor's degree with legal, economic, commercial or technical orientation.
  • At least 5 years' experience in the field of public procurement.
  • Knowledge of public procurement legislation.
  • Experience in public institutions, healthcare or energy is an asset.
  • Expertise in functional analysis and process optimisation.
  • Fluency in French, with a good knowledge of Dutch and/or English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and knowledge of SAP MM is a plus.
  • Certifications such as Prince2, Lean Six Sigma, Agile are an asset.
